Is the GMC Terrain an Off-Roader?
The GMC Terrain uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine to deliver up to 175 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, giving you plenty of power. It’s also available with AWD, which increases your torque to 203 lb-ft. Its selective drive modes include Normal and Snow. The AWD models add AWD and Off-Road modes for off-road readiness. The AT4 trim also features an AT4-exclusive Terrain mode, a front skid plate, an off-road-tuned suspension, and all-terrain tires.
How Big is the GMC Terrain?
The GMC Terrain is a compact SUV that seats five. It also contains a large 29.8 cubic-foot cargo area behind the rear seats. The rear seats split 60/40 and, when they’re flat, the cargo area increases to 63.5 cubic feet.
