While the new GMC SUV lineup still features many 2026 models, the 2027 models are starting to arrive on showroom floors. There are some notable changes to the new models. Rick Weaver GMC shares what you can expect as the 2027 models arrive.
GMC Terrain
You can currently purchase the 2027 GMC Terrain. The compact SUV has one key change from the 2026 model year. It’s no longer available with a CVT transmission from previous generations. It now features an eight-speed automatic transmission on each of its models instead. This is the case for front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models. Other than minor package changes, it stays pretty much the same.
GMC Acadia
The 2027 GMC Acadia is arriving at dealerships now. The midsize SUV also remains largely unchanged, although it’s now available with an AT4 Reserve Package. The package has many standout features such as heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, and a 16-speaker Bose® Performance audio system. The 2027 model is also available with new exterior paint colors, including Ink and Trailstone Green Metallic.
