Cargo Space
Both models offer comfortable seating for up to five people and plenty of cargo space behind the second row of seats. The 2023 Buick Envision gives you 25.2 cubic feet of cargo room, and the 2023 GMC Terrain offers 29.6 cubic feet. So the GMC model has a slight edge here, but you should have plenty of room for your gear and belongings no matter which SUV you pick.
Trim Levels
These SUVs also offer drivers several trim levels to choose from. There are more basic and affordable trim levels, like GMC Terrain SLE, but the Buick models are slightly more expensive at comparable levels. They balance this out with luxury features, especially if you choose the Avenir trim level, and they offer peaceful rides with minimal road noise thanks to QuietTuning™ technology.
The 2023 GMC Terrain offers a luxury trim level of its own, the Denali. It also offers a unique AT4 trim that’s designed for off-road adventuring. The Buick SUV doesn’t offer similar capabilities.
Gas Mileage
Both models are efficient, but the Buick Envision has a slight edge with EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 23 city miles per gallon and 31 on the highway. The GMC Terrain achieves 24 city miles per gallon and 29 miles per gallon on the highway by the same metrics.
