The 2023 GMC Yukon can tow more thanks to its more powerful engines and an available max trailering package. It can tow up to 8,400 pounds when properly outfitted. The 2023 Chevy Traverse can only tow a maximum of 5,000 pounds.
Technology and Features
The GMC Yukon can also be equipped with technology features that you won’t find in the Chevy Traverse. One example is Super Cruise™ technology, a unique semi-autonomous driving feature that actually allows this GMC SUV to take over some driving duties for you on supported stretches of highway. The Chevy Traverse doesn’t offer this.
